This product is formulated for horses at hard work or being fitted for show. The roughage portion with vitamin and mineral package is identical to our maintence pellet however we add corn for extra energy and weight gain. Ridgeline Foal
This pellet is a complete diet for the growing foal and pregnant mare. Ridgeline Foal protects against nutritionally caused bone disease while permitting optimum growth. It is made of select alfalfa fortified with phosphorus to achieve a correct calcium:phosphorus ratio. Peacy Foal also contains copper, zinc, and other trace elements identified by recent research as essential for healthy skeletal growth.

Feeding Instructions: These Complete Horse Pellets are formulated for growing horses as well as pregnant and lactating mares. Pregnant mares (last 110 days of pregnancy) and lactating mares should be fed 2 to 2.5% of body weight per day of Ridgeline Foal Complete Pellets depending on body condition. Nursing foals should have free access (separate from the mare) to Ridgeline Foal Complete Horse Pellets. Weanlings should be fed 2 to 2.5% of body weight per day, and yearlings should be fed 1.7 to 2% of body weight per day of Ridgeline Foal Complete Horse Pellets. It is recommended to divide the total daily intake into a minimum of two (2) equal feedings. In addition, all horses should have free choice salt and water.
