Regulations

Encompasing both SERF and Spur.

General Rules.

  • The SERF is modled after the FEI rules for Endurance Riding. Much of the information contained herein was gathered through the FEI site
  • The Imperial system will be used as the unit of measure for the SERF
  • Horses may participate in only one ride per day.
  • All Spur rules apply.

Age of Horses.

  • 10 Mile is open to horses four or five years old and is considered a Limited Distance Race
  • 25 and 35 Mile are open to horses six years of age or older.
  • 50 Mile is open to horses seven years of age or older.
  • 75 Mile or longer is open to horses eight years of age or older.

Membership.

  • No membership is required to ride in our shows *
  • * Membership is required, however, to qualify for EOY awards
