Futurity Programs

Foals must be bred within Spur Sim Game and be of an applicable breed to apply for special Futurity points at age 3 and 4. First Places get double ROM points for futurity registered foals.

ROM distinction for the SHA

The Spur Stock Horse Association offers special distinction to horses that accumulate more than 10 points. Every first place with more than 3 horses class gives 1 ROM point. Futurity registered homebreds will recieve 2 points for wins in a class of more than 3. ROM points are given only in SSHA sanctioned shows. The association will hold 4 shows per month.

If you feel your horse has earned a ROM distinction, please fill out the following form. The association will track these points and update them yearly. Use the form if you just cannot wait!

Once ROM is achieved, you get a * after your ROM for every 10 points. So a horse with 20 points would have ROM*.
